Tomorrow morning begins the next step in an up and down journey towards a Brad Pitt in fight club-esque body.

While I’ve been eating significantly healthier over the past six months, I feel I need the added structure to get me to the next level of health and wellness.

Kasey (my wife) and I will be dedicating the next 30 days to giving the Paleo lifestyle a serious go.

If you don’t know what it is, then do what all modern westerners do when they don’t know something–google it.  In short, going Paleo is about what the name denotes–eating like early humans ate.  In other words, your diet should consist of basically plants and animals.

While I can jive with the central thesis of the Paleo diet, I still have some reservations about some of the sub-points since it does end up restricting certain items that can, in fact, be found in nature.  So in that respect, the jury is still out.

Regardless of its potential shortcomings, I’m certain that my family will be exponentially healthier by eating real food as opposed to processed foods.
