p90x – I hate it, but I love it.

18 months ago, I weighed about 155 pounds.  On February 2nd, I weighed 185 pounds.  Not to state the obvious, but I will, that’s a lot of weight gain in a short amount of time.  Well, I decided that enough is enough and that it’s time to get back into shape.  Two weeks ago, I started p90x.  It is an intense, 90 day fitness routine led by Mr. Tony Horton.  You’ve probably seen the infomercial on tv.  It is no doubt an intense 90 day journey to fitness.  From simple, straightforward moves like a pushup to meticulously nuanced yoga positions, p90x is like nothing else I’ve ever done.  I’ve just begun week 3 and I’ve already lost 7 pounds.  My goal is to get down to 150, so I’m still a ways away.  This is the record of my journey.

    how’s the p90x goin? I’m on the eat cake diet to gain 200 pounds to go on the biggest loser, get trained by Bob Harper & lose 300 pounds
